The Pitti Uomo is one of the leading international men's fashion fairs. Year after year, Pitti Immagine runs a series of fashion fairs in the Fortezza da Basso. The former fortress was built by Anto-nio da Sangallo on behalf of Alessandro dé Medici. Today it is an international conference centre.

In January, the Pitti Immagine Uomo marks the beginning of the annual schedule of fashion fairs, presenting new collection of men's fashion.
